West Virginia Vital Records

Use * to search for zero or more characters before or after the search term. Examples: Jef* returns Jeff, Jeffrey, Jefferson, etc. Ste*en returns Steven, Stephen, etc. *alton returns Dalton, Walton, etc. Using a * before and after a search term will find that term anywhere in the field.Use _ to replace a single character with a wildcard character. Examples: J_n returns Jan, Jen, Jon, etc. _an returns Dan, Ian, Jan etc. Je_ returns Jeb, Jed, Jen, etc. Multiple _ may be used.Last names may include both maiden and married names. To search this field for one of the names, use this format: *name*.$12 per copy. The fee includes a non-refundable search fee. If our computerized search doesn't find the record, we will search the year specified, the year before and the year after. Additional searches may be paid for at a rate of $12 per three year period.

We accept cash, check and money orders. We do not accept debit/credit cards at our walk up counter, or by mail this time, but next to our office is an ATM machine and West Virginia United Federal Credit Union.
